This trip was an amazing experience. Filip was very knowledgeable and conversed with me the entire trip. I felt very safe and able to navigate the towns when I had free time away from Filip. I was nervous about the border crossing and wait times but we were able to cross to and from Montenegro with no issues or big delays. My parents and I spent a great day with Filip, traveling from Dubrovnik to Montenegro in his very comfortable sedan. He taught us so much about the area, sharing his deep historical knowledge and love for the region. The scenery is quite beautiful, and Kotor is charming. It’s a fairly small walled town, so we opted to shorten the guided tour there, wanting some time to relax and stroll on our own. Our late lunch on our return trip was a highlight. The restaurant is set in the middle of a beautiful little glen with a stream running through — a perfect place for a short walk after a very tasty meal. I am posting on behalf of myself and my wife as we both thoroughly enjoyed the outstanding service Filip provided on our tour from Dubrovnik to Montenegro. Filip is passionate about Croatia and his knowledge, both of historical and current significance is incredible. We were taken to his walking tour guide in Kotor who was equally enjoyable. Beautiful scenes were pointed out and we were taken to first a lovely coffee stop and after Kotor to the most magnificent and secluded lunch stop. Wonderful Day Trip to Kotor with Filip Travel — Plus a Hidden Gem!

We booked Filip Travel’s “Bay of Kotor” tour from Cavtat and it was one of the best parts of our trip. The drive along the Dalmatian Coast was stunning, and our guide, Filip, was friendly and full of interesting stories.

Highlights included the pretty village of Perast, the boat ride to Our Lady of the Rocks (worth the extra €20), exploring medieval Kotor City, and incredible views from Trojica Hill.

After the tour, we had a memorable lunch at what Filip called his hidden gem — it turned out to be one of the best meals we had on our entire visit.

Highly recommend Filip Travel for a smooth, scenic, and unforgettable day in Montenegro.

Our tour with Filip to Montenegro was wonderful. He picked us up early to avoid potential crowds at border control but we had no problem and it was smooth sailing to Montenegro. The drive was comfortable, peaceful, beautiful easy it was perfect. We stopped early in the bay of Kotor in a wonderful café for a coffee or a drink, and it started a journey of beautiful visits to Kotor, Perast, and just the most beautiful mountain ocean area that I've been to.

Montenegro was on my bucket list.    I knew it would be a beautiful place to visit. But, today’s 12-hour tour to Montenegro was actually MAGICAL thanks to our exclusive guide Filip Matijević!    Filip’s shared his abundant knowledge of the local culture, geography and historic events (current and past), had connections with other persons in the town who provided additional value to the day, and he selected of a beautiful local garden estate for an amazing meal.  Beyond all that, I enjoyed his company and his sense of humor.   When I visit this area again I will want Filip as my guide again!

The private tour to Montenegro was incredible! Filip is highly knowledgeable and recommended wonderful options for food, destinations, and activities. I learned so much about the history of the region and had one of the best meals of my life at the restaurant he suggested. I cannot recommend this tour enough, I hope to come back soon!
