Tour Dubrovnik → Mostar

Full day trip to Mostar

The Old Bridge – beautiful medieval arched bridge

Day trips from Dubrovnik are always exciting. But one of the best is certainly the Mostar tour. Mostar is a town located in southern Bosnia and Herzegovina that is known for its many contrasts in culture and religion. The Old Bridge – beautiful medieval arched bridge was reconstructed after the Bosnian War. Mostar will impress you with its small shops and colourful market stalls, delicious cuisine and the Neretva River that divides the city in half.

Herzegovina is a country of great natural wonders, rivers, rich waterfalls, and a mix of cultures and ethnicities, all living under the same sky. Take the tour with us and get acquainted with the history and the present of this stunning region. Muslims and Christians living on opposite banks of River Neretva, connected by Old Mostar Bridge, but divided by river Neretva and strong ideologies deeply embedded in both ethnic groups.

Ottoman town of Blagaj where blue Buna river springs out of the rock underneath 120 meter vertical cliff. The mysticism of the scenery has attracted man of prayer and meditation here for over 2000 years, and Dervish Sufi Order built a temple (Tekki) there in 16.ct which still stands over Buna River Spring (one of the most iconic photo-stops in all Bosnia and Herzegovina)

Počitelj is a town built on layers of medieval Bosnian and Ottoman Empire with elegant 15.ct. watchtower leaning over the whole fortified town reflecting in river Neretva below. Počitelj has everything that a typical Turkish neighborhood (Mahala) had: mosque, fountain, Clock tower, Watchtower, Governor’s house, resting house (han), Turkish Bath (hammam), and you can visit it all in a very short walk through its cobble stone paved streets.

Kravica waterfalls are one of the most beautiful natural locations in Bosnia and Herzegovina and are located on the Trebižat River. The height of the falls ranges from 26 to 28 meters, and at the foot of the falls is a lake 120 meters wide

Amazing personal experience Filip made the private tour 100% worth it. The itinerary was a great complement to our stay in Dubrovnik: stunning nature and charming old towns all as a backdrop for Filip & his local experts’ thorough narrative on the history and culture of Montenegro. Plus, the comfortable car and Filip’s humor & border crossing savvy made the car ride fly by.

Bay of Kotor day trip from Dubrovnik We did a day trip from Dubrovnik to Montenegro and had a great experience. Filip was prompt, organized, and very friendly. Start early if you can to make the most of the day. He shared a lot of helpful context along the drive, and the coffee stop overlooking Perast was a highlight with incredible views. In Montenegro, the local guide was fantastic and the town felt relaxed and authentic, especially with no cruise ships in port. Lunch on the way back lived up to the hype and was the perfect way to end the day. Highly recommend.

Day tour from Dubrovnik to Kotor We had a wonderful private tour to Montenegro from Dubrovnik. The car was clean and comfortable, and our driver enhanced the experience by pointing out beautiful viewpoints and sharing helpful context along the way. Once we arrived in Kotor, we were guided by a fantastic local guide who brought the history to life, highlighted hidden details we would have otherwise missed, and made the entire experience engaging and personal. One of the highlights of the day was our lunch stop at a truly magical venue. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere felt like something out of a story book—peaceful, scenic, and unforgettable.

Dubrovnik to Ston, Kravica Falls, Mostar and Blagaj We had amazing private trip to Ston, Kravica Falls, Mostar, and the Blagaj Dervish House in Bosnia coming from and returning to Dubrovnik, Croatia. Luka was wonderful and knowledgeable guide and was a good and safe driver. They also planned a Guided Tour in Mostar for us as part of the tour with Guide Amna. She was great and we learned a lot about the history of Bosnia and the Balkans. This was an awesome tour and really memorable day and was a highlight for our trip!!

Unforgettable day!! Filip is an outstanding tour guide. He got us through customs easily and brought us to several amazing stops. Each better than the last. The finale was dinner at what my husband and I rates “the best dining experience we ever had.” Carolina mlini . It’s a must. The food service and grounds are heavenly. Filip was friendly personal knowledgeable and all around someone easy to be with on a 10-12 hr tour. Go with him. You won’t be disappointed.

Best Private Tour from Dubrovnik Excellent day trip round the beautiful Montenegro. Filip knew the scenic routes around the area and where/when to go to avoid border control queues. Took us to the best view points for photographs and had amazing insight into the geography and history of Croatia and Montenegro. Lunch was absolutely fantastic at an incredibly beautiful restaurant with a delicious freshly caught fish dish they filleted at the table. Highly recommend for a private, personalised tour.

Wonderful Day Trip to Kotor with Filip Travel — Plus a Hidden Gem! We booked Filip Travel’s “Bay of Kotor” tour from Cavtat and it was one of the best parts of our trip. The drive along the Dalmatian Coast was stunning, and our guide, Filip, was friendly and full of interesting stories. Highlights included the pretty village of Perast, the boat ride to Our Lady of the Rocks (worth the extra €20), exploring medieval Kotor City, and incredible views from Trojica Hill. After the tour, we had a memorable lunch at what Filip called his hidden gem — it turned out to be one of the best meals we had on our entire visit. Highly recommend Filip Travel for a smooth, scenic, and unforgettable day in Montenegro. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our tour with Filip to Montenegro was wonderful. He picked us up early to avoid potential crowds at border control but we had no problem and it was smooth sailing to Montenegro. The drive was comfortable, peaceful, beautiful easy it was perfect. We stopped early in the bay of Kotor in a wonderful café for a coffee or a drink, and it started a journey of beautiful visits to Kotor, Perast, and just the most beautiful mountain ocean area that I've been to. Felip was a wonderful, educated, strong guide. Highly recommended

Montenegro was on my bucket list. I knew it would be a beautiful place to visit. But, today’s 12-hour tour to Montenegro was actually MAGICAL thanks to our exclusive guide Filip Matijević! Filip’s shared his abundant knowledge of the local culture, geography and historic events (current and past), had connections with other persons in the town who provided additional value to the day, and he selected of a beautiful local garden estate for an amazing meal. Beyond all that, I enjoyed his company and his sense of humor. When I visit this area again I will want Filip as my guide again! Lucy
